Forrest and Giuseppe were wonderful hosts, we loved chatting with them during breakfast! The India Inn was such a great find for our girls weekend! It is super close to everything downtown but also felt peaceful and quiet. The little details were much appreciated. The backyard was lovely. We all agreed that we would stay there again!
We loved staying here! The charming home was built in the 1700s and is perfectly located for walking around town or biking to the beach. Forrest and Giuseppe were lovely and thoughtful hosts who provided breakfast and beach items.
This beautiful eclectic home is in the heart of Nantucket! Walk to Everything! Shops, restaurants, beaches, dock. The hosts were awesome very hospitable, informative and provided a beautiful breakfast every morning.
Wonderful all around!
Great hosts, location and delicious breakfast. A true slice of classic Nantucket!
The accommodations and hospitality was beyond wonderful! We all had such delightful conversations and thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We are already considering when we want to return, and will certainly be booking with Forrest’s openings.
Had a fantastic 2 nights at the property. Gracious hosts and accommodations that aligned with the listing. Would recommend and come again!
This was my second Airbnb stay. I am on a roll. The amenities in our room were 5 star hotel. Robes, slippers, lux linens, suit case props, dressing screens, keurig and toaster oven were a stunning surprise. The service was beyond. The common areas were sublime. The best part were our hosts, Forest and Giuseppe…worldly, sophisticated and kind. So very hard to leave this slice of Heaven and them. I cannot wait to come back. Best B&B I have ever had the pleasure to stay in.
We had a wonderful stay at 29 India House. Our room was spacious and clean. Forrest was wonderful – extremely informative, friendly and accommodating (even with flight delays!). You cannot beat the location! I would highly recommend India House and look forward to my return!
The attic studio room space is a wonderful spot that fit 4 people comfortably. The room is a lot bigger and more spacious than the pictures show. It also has a small fridge in the room and coffee maker and even a toaster oven (which was unexpected but great for the beach drinks and provisions). We enjoyed getting to know our hosts and they were very attentive and helped to supply us with ice for our beach cooler and allowed us to store luggage at the inn on checkout day and come pick it up before we headed to the ferry. Room was cleaned daily which was great. Beds extremely comfortable and airco worked very well (which was a bonus because it was very hot when we were there).
Forrest’s home is a beautiful gem on island. Location wise, you cannot do better than being on India St, which is quietly tucked next to the very center of town. Guiseppe kindly helped us bring in our luggage up the stairs (they are narrow!) to our perfect upstairs room. Even though it is the attic, it is very cool (AC and fan situation worked without fault). There is a lot of space — even the private bathroom is spacious! The beds are incredibly comfortable and the carpet is quite soft and clean. There are many special touches throughout the room and the common spaces, like plenty of coffee machines, cold bottles of water, etc. Forrest’s home clearly has a lot of history; it’s beautifully decorated and filled with artifacts of a well-lived life. There is a lovely dining room set for a complimentary breakfast served in the morning. The side yard is charming. Forrest was kind enough to let us leave our bags after checkout until our flight. Thanks for a great visit!
